An impressive reservist's mug to Hornist Stern serving with Königlich Bayerisches 11. Infanterie-Regiment "von der Tann", 11. Kompanie from 1912 until 1914 in Regensburg.
A very nice painted porcelain mug with colored pictures. Original pewter lid with a solider and the Bavarian lion to the top. The top of the lid can be unscrewed, underneath a glass prism.
Including a list of names of his comrades, who served with him. The lithophane bottom shows the portrait of König Ludwig II. of Bavaria. Well visible when the mug is held against the light. Marked to the bottom.
Two unglazed small areas inside the mug, however, no damage or repair.
