Imperial Germany reservist's beer mug

Description

Bavarian reservist's mug to Gefreiten Benno Veit serving with Königlich Bayerisches Infanterie-Leib-Regiment, 6. Kompanie from 1910 until 1912 in München. So-called "Leibregiment".

Finely painted porcelain mug with colored pictures. A nice variant of the original pewter lid. It shows the Bavarian King's Crown to the top. The lid is slightly loose.

Including a list of names of his comrades, who served with him. The lithophane bottom has the typical soldier and maiden scene. Well visible when the mug is held against the light.

0.5-litre mug. No chipping. No damage.

Nice condition.

Height: 27.5 cm.
