An excellent Bavarian reservist's mug to Oberjäger Ernst Schüller serving with 2. Königlich Bayerisches Jägerbataillon, 3. Kompanie from 1903-1905 in Aschaffenburg.
Very nice patined porcelain mug with "fresh" colors. The front of the mug comes with a portrait photo of Ernst Schüller. Including a list of names of his comrades, who served with him. The lithophane bottom shows the portrait of König Ludwig II. of Bavaria. Well visible when the mug is held against the light. "J. Reischenböck, München" marked.
Original pewter lid with two soldiers to the top. The thumb lift depicts the Bavarian lion.
