Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

Bavarian reservist's mug to Georg Herlmeier serving with Königlich Bayerisches Infanterie-Regiment, 5. Kompanie in München from 1907 until 1909. So-called "Kronprinz".

Fine colored porcelain mug. Original pewter lid with a rare glass dome to the top. The inlay of the dome consists of a guard in front of a guardhouse as well a cavalryman. "DRGM" and "31662” marked inside. Including a list of names of his comrades, who served with him.

Lithophane bottom. Well visible when the mug is held against the light.

0.5-litre mug. No chipping. No damage.
