Description

U.S. ARMY field camouflaged M17 binoculars leather case. The case was found a few years ago in the small village of Fosses near Saint-Jaques in the Ardennes, Belgium. It is in as found condition, uncleaned. This US Airborne unit is known for painted their uniforms and equipments in green and black paint. The rank, soldier’s name and ASN number are written on the inside of the flap « Albert A Pate 35756100 », this information can identify the soldier « Pfc Albert A Pate, 551st Parachute Infantry Battalion, Company A ».
