Description

A period time privately purchased Heer field tunic designed like an M36 pattern. The tunic was tailored from Italian gabardine around 1944/45. You can clearly see the lack of cloth this tailor had by using several kinds of cloth to finish this tunic.

Breast eagle: machine-woven NCO / officer's pattern on dark green backing. Period time attached by hand.
Collar tabs: period time attached by hand
Shoulder boards: artilllery Oberfeldwebel boards. Sewn-in.

Including a higher class shooting lanyard attached to a button underneath the shoulder board.

Lining: silk. Italian origin as well. Some Italian markings. No tailor's or name tag.
Buttons: Period time attached. Complete

A matching breeches tailored from the same cloth.
Two rear buttons missing. Some re-attached period time to the front.
Minor damage. Overall good condition. Working zippers.

A very rare late war set!
