Description

A period time privately purchased Heer field tunic designed like an M36 pattern. The earliest pattern was considered very elegant with its dark green collar and insignia and the preferred design of most soldiers.

Constructed from khaki color canvas for use at the so-caled "South-Front" (Italy, Greece etc...)

Breast eagle: machine-embroidered NCO / officer's pattern on dark green backing. Period time attached by hand.
Collar tabs: period time attached by machine
Shoulder boards: artillerie Oberwachmeister boards. Slipped-on

Buttons: Period time attached. Complete

Very nice condition! An untouched piece with minor moth damage to the reverse of the shoulder boards only!
