A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 70% still present. Signs of wear. The helmet was issued with an apple green factory paint and received another apple green paint in the field. The eagle decal was left out. The national embleme was overpainted.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 40%. The national decal was overpainted but shines trough.
Lining: Flexible leather lining with damage. Not too soft. Small size 54/55. Missing/damaged chin strap.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
