Description

Clearly worn 1st pattern "old style" visor cap for an officer with a leather visor. Collector's call this type of cap a "crusher cap". 

Piping: Not really "hochrot" but rather "karmesinrot" color worn by veterinarians. 
Insignia: Machine-woven officer's cap eagle and wreath badge. The correct type of insignia for this cap. Attached by machine. 

Sweat-band: Signs of wear
Lining: Black silk. 
Visor: Leather. 

Clearly moth damaged. Condition 3.
