Description

Document grouping to Gefreiter Heinz Quitzau serving with Panzeraufklärungs-Abteilung "Großdeutschland". Quitzau was born in 1923 and served as a HJ leader with Bann 61 (Neukölln-Trepnow, Berlin) before the war.

Quitzau remained in Russian prisonship until 24.11.1949.

1.9.1943 issued certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class stamped "Inf.Div.Großdeutschland". Facsimile signed by Generalleutnant and division commander Walter Hoernlein. Quitzau served with Stab/Pz.Aufklärungs-Abt. Großdeutschland at that time.
Folded once.

Certificate to the Tank Assault Badge in bronze. 21.7.1943 dated and "Aufkl.Abt.Großdeutschland" stamped. Real pencil signature of the commander of the Abteilung. Quitzau served with Stabsschwadron of "Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung Großdeutschland" at that time.
Folded twice.

A 1950 dated document confirming a Russian POV document telling you more details on his prisonship.

"Führerausweis der Hitler-Jugend" HJ leader's ID card with a period time applied photograph. Bann 61 (Neukölln-Trepnow, Berlin).
