Important grouping to later SS-Hauptscharführer August Petersen. He served as a SS-Stabsscharführer (Spieß) with SS-Infanterie-Regiment 10 during WW1. Before the war, he served with SS-Totenkopf-Standarte "Oberbayern".
Extremely rare postcard "WIR WOLLEN DAS WORT NICHT BRECHEN NICHT BUBEN WERDEN GLEICH WOLLN PREDIGEN U. SPRECHEN VOM HEILIGEN DEUTSCHEN REICH.
Ink autograph to the front side: "Ernst Ruff" who was one of his soldiers.
Ruff dedicated the postcard to his "Spieß" Petersen to the reverse:
"Meinem lieben Spiess zur Erinnerung im Jahr des Großdeutschen Freiheitskampfes 1941, Krakau 10. März 1941"
