A German M35 helmet. The type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Waffen-SS.
Paint: Original factory paint. On top of the paint, there is another layer added later in the war covering both decals. This layer of paint was carefully removed later securing around 85-90% of the decals.

Lining: Flexible leather lining in very nice condition. Still soft. Original cord. Unreadable size stamped.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: Soft leather. Maker marked. It looks to be 1940 dated. Matching condition
