A rare to find M38 Luftwaffe paratrooper helmet in undisturbed condition.
This helmet which was only issued to German paratroopers during WWII made by Eisenhüttenwerke.
A textbook helmet issued with a single eagle decal in worn condition. The original factory paint and the eagle decal are about 90%.
Original attached and clean size 59 leather liner made by FW Müller is niceley stamped with the head size 59 and th helmet size of 71 . It is still flexible and comes with minor cracks. Original chin straps which were however modified by the soldier at the time. It looks like he cut off one part of the strap and attached a shoulder strap to it to be able to adjust the size easier. Some rust to the buckle.
Original inner ring with matching soft pads. Original attached rivets with matching color. Stamped ET71 and 931
Nicely worn helmet that is in untouched condition and preservation.
