Luftwaffe M38 helmet which was only issued to German paratroopers. This helmet was purchased from the family and was never available on the market before!
Typical helmet shell with a "ckl68" maker and size stamp to the side.
Liner: Soft leather. Minor signs of wear. "Preuß" named.
Markings: "Kopfweite 58" size marked and "Stahlhelm Gr.68" shell size marked. Stamped with the "Reichsbetriebsnummer"
Screws: Marks. One iron period time replaced. All others original aluminum ones. Slightly loose. Need to get fastened again.
Chin straps: Soft leather 2nd pattern chin straps.
Paint: Around 90-95% factory paint. Nce condition
Decal: No decal.
It looks that this helmet had a swastika painted to the front side once.
