Austrian M17 helmet which was re-issued after 1938 with a Wehrmacht liner and decals to German/Austrian Wehrmacht troops. The shell comes with full factory applied fieldgrey paint.The national decal was removed however the eagle decal is still present. Original rivets holding the original attached liner.
Unmarked shell. Size 58 satmped soft leather liner with original cord.
It looks like the eagle decal was covered with anything which might have been glued. There is some glue around it left.
