Heer single decal helmet issued after 1938. Austrian M17 helmet which was re-issued with a single decal. Interestingly, the helmet was factory painted with a "rough" fieldgrey paint. The eagle decal is about 70%. Where the decal is missing, you can clearly see the original green Austrian factory paint of this helmet.
Ventilation holes and chin strap connection missing (removed). Original size 58 leather lining in good condition.
A shoe lace was used instead of a proper cord. Original but damaged chin strap.
