A German 42 helmet. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polilzei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 95% still present. Minor signs of wear.
Decals: The eagle decal is generally 100% but the swastika was removed.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. "58" size stamped.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: Soft leather. Marked with Reichsbetriebsnummer 0/0390/0204
Markings: NS66 to the shell. Ink stamp to the dome.
An absolutely untouched helmet! Unfortunately with removed swastika.
