Extremely rare Luftwaffe M42 helmet with original three color camo paint. This type of brushed camo paint was typical for use during the Normandy Campaign. The colors are khaki, green and dark red. You can clearly see that there is a Lufwaffe single decal underneath the camo paint. The paint is in very good conditon and covered about 95% of the shell.
The shell is ET64 stamped. The liner is original to this helmet. The rivets are showing the same type of camo paint. There the paint is worn off, the show the original blue Luftwaffe paint.
Leather liner partially dry howver still flexible. Cord missing. One crack.
