Solid zinc, mid-war made Silver grade Infantry Assault Badge. One of the more uncommon makers of the IAB was Josef Bergs and Co from Gablonz. Most of the IAB's made by this maker today are found void of any maker marks. This is the more uncommon variant properly marked JB&Co. It's this mark that makes it a desirable IAB variant among collectors. Apart from traces of actual wear in overall good condition.
