Wehrmacht (Luftwaffe), officers'-pattern, white-topped summer-type visor-cap (ie. 'Sommer-Schirmmütze für Offiziere') as was intended for usage by the various Luftwaffe commissioned staff serving within the 'Luftwaffe'
The piece comes with a (removable) white-coloured top which is executed in (typical) white-coloured- and 'ribbed'-style linnen. The cap itself has the silver-coloured- and braid-based piping attached and shows a white-coloured (and 'silk-like'-type-) lining installed. The inside shows a printed makers'-designation (or: logo) that reads: 'CW - Erstklassig' (as can be seen on the pictures).
The cap shows a neatly hand-embroidered, silver-coloured officers'-type cap-eagle and dito visor-cap-cocarde in place (which are both very detailed and which are firmly attached). The beige-coloured sweat-band is also fully intact and nicely preserved (it shows a paper size-tag '56' attached on its inside). The cap comes with its undamaged (and green-backed) visor and (period) silver-coloured cap-cord ('Sturmriemen') in place.
The cap - which has retained a nice shape - comes in an overall very nice condition and shows no age nor wear. It is approximately 58 cms. sized and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
