Supberb Third Reich forestry hunting dagger. So-called "Hirschfänger". Made by Hörster, Solöingen.
Excellent etched blade to three sides showing hunting scenes. "Hörster" maker marked. Nice gilt brass handle with white grip plates. Decorated with three "acorns" on each side. No chipping. Furthermore a national eagle with swastika to the front. The clamshell crossguard displays a deer. Including the matching portepee.
Leather scabbard with gilt brass fittings. No dents.
