Third Reich hunting dagger. so-called "Hirchfänger". Made by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen.
Nice etched blade to three sides with hunting scenes. "W. MICHOVIUS COTTBUS" (merchant) etched to the blade's back. Slight stains. The white grip plates are damaged due to moisture. Brass hilt fittings. The clamshell crossguard displays a roebuck. Including the matching knot.
Brown leather scabbard with gilt brass fittings. The lower fitting is nicely decorated with a deer. With the original leather hanger. Slightly damaged to the top.
