Himmler signed grouping to SS officer Diekmann

Beschreibung

A nice grouping to SS-Sturmbannführer Gustav Diekmann serving with SS-Verfügungstruppe and Rasse- und Siedlungsamt-SS. As well a high ranking officer and leader of the Fürsorge- und Versorgungsamt der Waffen-SS.

Gustav Diemann was born on 1. April 1910 in Hamburg. He was an early NSDAP and SS member, joined on 1. May 1932. Awarded with SS Honor Ring in March 1936, 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd and 1st Class with swords as well as SA Sports Badge in bronze. Furthermore first advisor in the area of anti-partisan combat "Bandenbekämpfung" of SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Polizei Wilhelm Günter in the Ukraine.

The grouping comes with a very nice photo album. It includes beautiful portrait photos. Shots of SS-Obergruppenführer and General der Waffen-SS und Polizei Werner Lorenz. One photo is original signed by him! Furthermore one photography of Wolfram von Richthofen and one of "Empfang der Legion Condor 1939" (Welcome of the Legion Condor 1939). Fine shots of his field service taken in Denmark, Dunkirk, Calais, Ostend and Antwerp. It shows SS graves, destroyed buildings, members of the SS-Standarte GERMANIA and vehicles. Roughly 137 photos. Nice lettered.

One the last two pages of the album his "Jungstahlhelm" membership card and six period time tinnies/badges attached. 

Excellent promotion document issued by DER REICHSFÜHRER-SS on 13.10.1941, Führerhauptquartier. Gustav Diekmann was promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer. Original signed by Heinrich Himmler! Two holes and folded.

Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 1s Class with swords. Issued on 30. January 1945. Facsimile signature by Heinrich Himmler. DER REICHSFÜHRER-SS stamped. Folded.

1939 War Merit Cross 1st Class by Deschler. "1" maker marked to the pin. Fine tombak badge. Lovely dark patina. With the original case of issue. Push-button to the front damaged.

SA Sports Badge in bronze. Maker marked. The catch is missing. Including the matching certificate. Issued on 30.06.1937.

Temporary registration issued by Military Goverment of Germany on 13. July 1945. Two holes and folded.

Early Allgemeine-SS armband. The front of the armband is faded. Multi-piece construction. No moth damage. Worn.

Waffen-SS Sturmbannführer single shoulder board. Orange "piping". Sewn-on type. Signs of wear. No moth damage.

The grouping also contains his extensive SS personnel file and documents from 1933 to 1945. These are copies of the German Bundesarchiv. With a lot of room for research! Please see pictures for more details.
