Luftwaffe M37 officer's dagger made by SMF, complete with its matching hangers and the officer's portepee.
The cross guard and pommel are both made from aluminum, with a nicely matching patina.
The steel scabbard with aluminum bands has no dents.
The grip is a very nice dark orange.
The blade is clean and in its full shape, marked with the etching of the SMF logo on the backside. Above this logo, the Luftwaffe waffenamt is stamped on the blade.
Attached to the dagger is a short-style silver Luftwaffe portepee.
The included hangers are of the deluxe type with an oak leaves-decorated top clip. The top clip is also RZM and DRGM (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster) marked, and the two bottom clips are both DRGM marked. All metal pieces are made from zinc. Most of the silver on the hanger bands has worn off.
