Extremely early German M35 helmet. The shell comes with early 1st pattern decals and with a green (!) factory applied paint!
This helmet could well be worn by a "Regiment General Göring" member or even "Polizeiregiment Göring".
Paint: Nearly aobut 85% of the green factroy paint is present.
Decals: Both factory applied decals are over 90%. The eagle decal is an early 1st pattern drop-tail eagle. Both decals show the same sort of "yellow" patina.
Lining: Oiled once. Darkened. Replaced cord. Not too flexible anymore. A round sunken stamp!
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell. Damaged metal ring!
Chin strap: Darkened. Oiled once. Applied later in 1941. Dated and maker marked.
Markings: ET68. Faily early and unusual ventilation holes, too!
