Untouched M40 Luftwaffe single decal helmet made in 1942. Never cleaned! Originally attached chin strap and lining. The chin strap and lining is still flexible. The lining comes with the original cord and a 56 (?) size marking. The chin strap is maker marked and 1942 dated.
There is an original "MATTTASCH" paper name tag to the dome.
The shell comes with a rough blue-grey factory paint. It is "hkp64" marked to the side (!) which is quite hard to find. They are usually marked to the rear.
The prongs of the rivets were never opened! The decal is about 80%.
