A German Heer Wehrmacht M35 helmet which was taken by a US GI as a war souvenir. "The PINETTE Club" and two swastikas painted with yellow color to the shell.
The helmet itself is a textbook M35 helmet with a wartime fieldgrey paint. The decals are most probably underneath the original field paint. All rivets original attached and complete with a soft size "59" stamped leather liner. "ALSACE" named to the reverse. Parts of the lot number stamp visible. No maker stamps visible. Covered by the fieldgrey paint.
