Fantastic M42 Waffen-SS helmet issued with one decal. The fieldgrey factory paint and the factory-applied decal are nearly 100%. Minor signs of wear and age.
The shell is "ckl64" maker and size marked to the reverse. Furthermore, "3109" lot numbered.
The helmet wrote his name and unit to the inside of the shell with white paint: "RTTF. ZORN SS.AUFKL.ABT.17."
Soft leather liner with original cord and signs of wear. Size "58" stamped. The wrong were opened ones but look to be the original ones to the shell.
A very rare helmet in very nice condition!
According to our consignor, this helmet was found in Bütgenbach (Wallonien), Belgium.
