Very early Panzer visor cap worn by a EM or NCO serving with Panzer-Regiment 5. Nicely maker (barely readable) and unit marked to the sweat-band: "St.I./Pz.R.5 II".
Typical orange color lining. A white "54 1/2" size stamp. Removed celluloid diamond. Intact sweat-band with size patina.
Originally attached 1st pattern wreath badge and cockade. The cap eagle not a correct 1st pattern eagle but also a very early tombak example.
Only a hand-full of small both holes. Condition 2.
