Luftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.
Branch: Division Hermann Göring. White color piping.
Insignia: An aluminum cap eagle and wreath badge. All prongs in place.
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: light beige color silk lining with some signs of use and age
Celluloid diamond: Undamaged with manufacturer mark "HPC" (Hermann Potthoff, Coesfeld). The manufacturer's marking is a bit faded but still readable.
Sweatband: brown, absolutely intact sweatband with minor signs of use. Only one small crack to the left. Embossed manufacturer mark to the left front side.
Very rare and beautiful cap in great shape and condition!
