Privately purchased ornamented field tunic from field-grey gabardine. Classic design worn by Generals with red piping along the cuffs and the collar. Red vertical piping along the button line.

The tunic and insignia are genuine but the insignia were not period time attached. 

Buttons: Gilt. Assmann maker marked. EXTRA FEIN marked. Complete
Breast eagle: Gold bullion hand-embroidered type for Generals. Green backing. Attached by hand. Excellent quality. 
Collar tabs: Nice patina. Attached by hand. 
Shoulder boards. Very nice pieces. Sewn in. Generalleutnant

Several loops for a long ribbon bar and five awards. Postwar applied.

Fine silk lining. A "Manske & Müller" tailor's tag. 

The collar backing was removed.
There are a very few tiny moth bites. The tunic is in very good condition. 

Heer General's breeches. A heavy quality privately purchased example with grey silk lining. 

Complete buttons. One re-attached. 

The red General piping to both sides was attached by machines.

Original cords and loops in place. A postwar added name tag of a general. 

No moth damage. Not even hand-ful of tiny bites.
