A privately purchased officer's field tunic designed like an M36 field tunic with a dark green collar and vertical bars to all pockets. Closed with 6 buttons in the front and with french cuffs in the sleeves. Special slit in the lower pocket for dagger/sword hanger.
Tunic comes with stone-gray parade/walking-out pants with pink piping along each side. Pants have few very small moth holes and remain in great condition.
Breast eagle: hand-embroidered officer's pattern. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Pink piped officer's tabs. Period time attached by machine
Shoulder boards: pink. Sewn-in. Leutnant
Lining. Fine silk
Name tag / tailor's tag: present. Owner of the tunic was L. Frhr. von Heyl (Leutnant Freiherr von Heyl), and the date of 18th October 1944 is clearly visible.
Buttons: Complete. Original attached. Single set of award loops on the pocket.
