Heer geschmückte Feldbluse

Beschreibung
Very rare Panzer field blouse to the German Cross in gold recipient Hauptmann Anton Herr. Herr was awarded the German Cross in gold on 2. August 1944 serving with 5./Panzer-Regiment 22. He was furthermore awarded the Honor Roll Clasp in 1945 as Kompanie leader of 5./Panzer-Regiment 22 for action Northeast of Lauban on 27. February 1945.

The tunic is a rare so-called ornamented field tunic with piping around the cuffs and next to the button line. Excellent insignia without any corrosion original attached by machine and hand. The breast eagle was accurately attached by hand, the collar tabs by machine. Hauptmann boards with "22" cyphers.

Both pockets with loops for awards. Loops for the German Cross in gold and two other badges like a Tank Assault Badge and a Wound Badge. His 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class with screw-back is still attached to the tunic. Furthermore, there is a 3 place ribbon bar with proofs he served from at least 1938 (Sudetenland Medal, East Medal, Iron Cross 2nd Class).

Fine silk lining with a Schwarz & Sohn tailors tag as well as a name tag inside the inner pocket. It was sold to Herr as a Leutnant on 31.7.1940. Named to "Anton Herr".

The tunic comes in fantastic condition. There is not a single moth hole. Bright colors.
This tunic would have stayed at home to hear during front vacation. He February 1945 awarded Honor Roll Clasp is not attached, since we would have not worn this tunic in 1945 (vacation was very rarely given at this time).
