A retailored officer's field tunic made from a standard issue M43 feldbluse with straight pocket flaps. The tunic has been shortened and the top pockets retailored to feature pleats on the pocket.

Breast eagle: Hand embroidered on dark green backing. Officers version. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Green braided officer's tabs. Attached by hand 
Shoulder boards: White base. Slip-on. Leutnant.
Right sleeve badge: Edelweiss badge. Other ranks pattern. Attached by hand. 
Lining. Rayon. Size markings are still visible.
Buttons: Complete. Field-gray. Original attached.

The shoulders have some padding, made from knitted wool attached by hand. It has 3 awards attached to the left pocket: A black wound badge, an Infantry Assault Badge made by FZS (pin and hook missing) and a highly polished DRL Sports Badge in Bronze made by Hensler (repaired).

In the lot, there is also a late-war Soldbuch belonging to a GJ officer of the reserve, Alfons Posch, joining the reserve army as a Reserve Officer Candidate. He finished the war as an officer in one of the Inspectorates of the Fahnenjunkerschule.
