A superb German gas mask canister that has been camouflaged in a three-tone « NORMANDY » spray finish. In overall excellent condition with a light amount of combat wear. The canister shows normal chips, nicks and scrapes nicely all over. The canister retains well over 95% of its original spray camouflage finish. All three colors to include tan, green and brick red are sprayed on the canister. The colors remain vibrant and contrasting. The paint has a matte feel and never been touched. Nicely named on the inner lid « Gefreiter Fuchs ». The carrying straps are present. The gas mask comes with the canister. A superb and very hard to find camouflage canister.
