A superb German gas mask canister that has been camouflaged in two-tone spray finish. Typical colors attributed to Waffen-SS units in Normandy. In overall untouched and as found condition. Retaining strong and vivid colors. Several scuffs, scraps and nicks are present but the paint still rates in at well over 97%. The colors of tan and green over the factory paint is present and nicely visible in the detailed photos below. Come with the original carrying straps. Gas mask is complete with accessories. Beautiful example that was recovered in Normandy, France.
