Rare Waffen-SS 2nd pattern "plane tree" camo smock. Well worn condition with character. A classic "been there" example.
The colors are still fresh. There are signs of use and slight damage which we want to describe more detailed in additional to the pictures.
Front: One hole below the central elastic fastening strap. A small hole next to the line of factory applied holes for the cord.
Spring side: All nine loops to the right shoulder missing. Three loops to the left shoulder missing. Six in place.
Autumn side: Only one loop missing to the left shoulder. 17 loops original attached.
Reverse: One triangle rip to the center (4cm + 6,5cm). Two small rips to the bottom.
Left sleeve: One small rip/manufacturing error. Right sleeve: A 8cm cut to the arm pit. One small hole next to it.
Apart from that a few small rips which we consider as normal signs of wear for a smock like that.
The neck fastening cord is missing. It looks that the central elastic band was taken out. The straps to the sleeves are still there but not elastic anymore.
