A German M35 helmet. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer and was period time finished with a sand camo paint.
Parts of the camo are still there.
The helmet looks to be unworn. The lining shows almost no signs of wear.
Most of the paint is gone. The helmet was oiled once to avoid it will rust.
Chin strap: Rb-numbered.
Markings: Q66
