Nicely worn Heer M42 helmet which was issued with a single decal. About 85% of the original fieldgrey paint ist still covering the shell. There are some scratches and signs of wear. The decal is about 65%. The chin strap is partially dry. The lining is still soft but comes slightly damaged. It is 56 size marked.
While the prongs of the rivets are not too flat, the liner looks to be period time attached.
