Description

Privately purchased four-pocket tunic from field-grey gabardine. A classic design as worn by Generals with red piping along the cuffs and the collar. Red vertical piping along the button line. This one is attributed to General Bock von Wülfingen (1895-1984) according to out consignor. 


Breast eagle: Gold bullion hand-embroidered type for Generals. Green backing. Reattached by hand.
Collar tabs: Excellent quality examples with nice patina. Slightly damaged. Reattached by hand. 
Shoulder boards. General grade. Generalmajor.
Buttons: Gilt. Complete
Lining: Fine silk, with maker's tag for "Strohmeier".

The tunic comes with a 1st class iron cross and a long ribbon bar for ten awards. It has a few moth holes.
