Incredibly rare Heer M40 tunic as issued to Afrikakorps troops. Typically tailored from thick khaki color cloth which very often turned nearly white after extensive service in the sun.
Collar tabs: machine-woven. Period time attached by machine.
NCO tress: tropical gold color pattern. Period time attached by hand.
Brast eagle: machine-woven. Period time attached by machine and hand (top line by machine, the rest by hand).
Shoulder boards: tropical slip-on pattern. Red silk piping.
Buttons: full color. Attached with the original rings
Lining: khaki color cotton.
Markings: size stamped. "B42" depot marked. "Wilhelm Viohl & Co. Berlin" maker marked.
