Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

A very early Imperial reservist's mug to Alois Schmalholz serving with 3. Infanterie-Regiment "Prinz Karl von Bayern", 1. Kompanie Augsburg from 1893-1895.

Fine painted porcelain mug. Original tin lid. Excellent colored pictures (fresh colors). The base for this early mug was a civilian mug. The lithophane bottom shows a typical scene however, with civilian persons. Well visible when the mug is held against the light.

0.5 litre mug. No chipping. No damage.

Height: 23.5 cm.
