Imperial reservist's mug to Josef Wiehler serving with Königlich Bayerisches 4. Chevaulegers-Regiment „König“, 2. Eskadron Augsburg from 1906-09.
Fine painted porcelain mug. Original tin lid with a "Chevauleger"to the top. Excellent colored pictures. The lithophane bottom has a typical soldier and maiden scene. Well visible when the mug is held against the light. The glaze on the handle is slightly worn-out and therefore partly rough.
The bottom with six attached modern felt tabs and two very fine hairline cracks. Marked.
0.5 litre mug. No chipping.
