A superb unissued M1940 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « Q64 » with the lot number « 1003 ». The helmets exterior is in untouched condition and in its original state. Featuring factory applied blue-grey paint that covers over 99% of the surface. It shows evidence of being a depot piece and never issued. The Luftwaffe decal rates in at 99% as well. The split pins are intact. The interior of the helmet is untouched and in its original state. Leather liner is a nice brown color and has no condition issues. The leather liner is size ink stamped « 56 » and retains its original drawstring and chinstrap. The chinstrap is marked with the RBNr and dated « 44 », comes with its factory cardboard tag. A really nice Luftwaffe combat helmet in perfect condition.
