A truly rare Heer M40 helmet which was guaranteed worn by a medic. Most of the paint is gone but you can clearly see four large red crosses painted to the top, left, right and front side. The red color nearly turned black over the decades. The inner ring and two rivets are still in place. The liner is missing. The shell shows rust to the inside and is generally in condition 3. About 40% of the eagle decal is in place.
