A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 96% still present. Minor signs of age.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 95%. The national decal is about 85%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. Unreadable size stamp. Most probably 58.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: Soft leather. 1940 dated. Maker marked. Broken to one end.
Markings: Q66
The helmet comes in a quite dark fieldgrey color which is acutally a bit more green than it look on the pictures.
