Beschreibung
BESCHREIBUNG ANSEHEN

A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer in 1940 and left the factory with one decal attached. 

Paint: Original factory paint. Around 95% still present. Signs of wear.

Decals: The eagle decal is about 95%. It never had a 2nd decal attached.

Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. 58 size stamped.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.

Chin strap: Soft leather. 1940 dated. Maker marked.

Markings: EF66

Absolutely untouched condition! Certainly one of the last M35 helmets issued. Named to a Leutnant. Parts of the name were removed.
