Very rare M35 Wehrmacht camo helmet with tan and green color camo painted to the outer shell. Over 90% are still covering the shell and you can clearly see that there is a rough fieldgrey paint underneath which might have been added around 1940.
The rivets of the prongs look to have been opened period time. Maybe before painting. The rivets do show the same camo paint and certainly are period time to the shell.
Soft leather liner. Size 56. Modern cord.
Leather chin strap. Maker marked. Still flexible.
Nicely worn condition with a lot of character.
