A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
This helmet was worn throughout the war. It was worn with a sandcamo paint to the outside of the shell. Bits can still be found.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. 59 size,
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
