Waffen-SS M40 helmet shell with original camo paint. The lot number is very hard to read due to rust pitting but it ends with "226". The maker and size stamp is "Q66". There are remainings of an SS decal left to the right side. There is original sprayed green and red camo paint visible to the shell.
Certainly a nice helmet once completed with an original liner. It was certainly well worn. There is a small dent to the shell to the left side.
